It's National French Fry Day – Enjoy! 🍟
For years, National French Fry Day was observed on July 13. But last year, fast-food chains Checkers & Rally's gathered online petition signatures asking the arbiter of “fun, unusual, and unique” national days, the National Day Calendar, to move the holiday to the second Friday in July. That way, the day would always fall on a Fry-day😉
Some restaurants went with the change and others did not. We've listed deals for both days – valid at participating locations only. The official National Fry Day is July 12th this year.
Here's what we have so far – we'll update as new offers become available. Hardee, Hooters, Jack in the Box and others participated last year but haven't released info yet.
- Arby's: $1 Any Size Fry every week in July, courtesy of Arby's Rewards.
- Burger King: Burger King's Royal Perks members can get a free order of fries with any purchase, once a week. Get any size fries.
- Checkers & Rally's: Free regular size Fully Loaded Fries with any purchase in the Checkers & Rally’s Rewards app starting Fryday, July 12th through Sunday, July 14th.
- Freddy's: Download the Freddy’s mobile app on July 12 and get free regular fries with any purchase, from July 13 to 14, 2024. The free fries must be redeemed on Freddy’s mobile app and is valid for one-time use only.
- McDonald’s: Get FREE medium fries any size in the app July 13th – no purchase necessary.
- Raising Cane’s: On July 12th, Caniac Club Members will see the offer for an order of free fries. You can redeem it by swiping your Caniac Club Card, placing an online order or scanning the QR code in the mobile app.
- Smashburger: On July 12th, get a free regular size Smash Fries with any purchase. The offer is available in-restaurant and online — use promo code FRYDAY24.
- Wayback Burgers: Rewards members can get a free regular size fries with a purchase of a burger or sandwich thru the app, online, or in-store on July 12, 2024.
- Wendy's: FREE Fries of any size fwith any purchase thru the app on Friday, July 12th.
- Whataburger: Score a FREE medium fry thru the app on July 12th. For fry fans who don’t have the Whataburger app, those who download it on or before July 12 will be rewarded with one free order of medium fries on Friday and one free Whataburger immediately.
- White Castle: BOGO Free Small Fries on 7-12 with this coupon. If ordering online, try using code: FRYDAY at checkout.
