The Homeland here in Muskogee will not double to a $1.00 if the item is on sale. At least that is what I was told last week when I shopped. I will say that is the first time that has happend.
@Kim they won’t double on a clearance item usually, but any regular sale item will double up to a dollar, in my experiences. You need to ask for a manager the next time that happens to you.
Kristy, I asked at my Homeland about the not doubling on clearance and this isn’t a Homeland coupon policy. It’s something that managers have decided to do on their own. I looked it up and sure enough it’s not a part of their written policy. @ Kim, Kristy is right…ask for a manager and if you get told the same thing by him/her I’d call corporate. I’m planning on calling them tomorrow to try and get some info on this and the not doubling on clearance. 🙂
