Walgreens Changing Balance Rewards – What You Need to Know!

Walgreens is making changes!
If you shop Walgreens regularly to earn points, things are about to slightly change. Here are the important points:
- All points earned on or BEFORE August 25th 2016 will EXPIRE on August 25th 2017. So if you've been holding on to those points you've only got a month to use them or lose them.
. - All other points will now expire 12 months after they were earned (previously we had 3 years).
The above changes apply to active members (those who have shopped Wags within the last six months.) If you don't shop at least once every six months your points will expire no matter when they were earned.
If you have points that will expire because of the upcoming change, a catalina should print out at the register for you the next time you shop alerting you to the change. If you want to confirm how many of your points may be affected, check you Walgreens Balance Rewards account here
