A heatwave has hit Oklahoma like a storm and we have been looking for new ways to cool down our backyard. You will notice in the background we love to Garden, so we have raised beds and smart pots all over filled with yummy veggies and herbs.
Unfortunately with the heatwave, some of the plants in our galvanized containers just couldn't handle the heat, so while talking about replacing those plants we lost, we noticed how the sun was hitting our new picnic table and that simply just wasn't going to do.
While searching many stores online, we landed on Abba Patio's website. I contacted them about how we were working on sprucing up our backyard and they agreed to send us one for review. We started with the Abba Patio 50lbs Round Patio Umbrella Base made from recyclable plastic.
The base is stable and durable and can be filled with water. You'll want to wait to fill it with water till after you have moved it to where you want it because it will weigh around 50lbs once filled. The pole is also made from steel. Since ours was going on our picnic table we didn't see the need to fill ours with water.
Now onto the Abba Patio Umbrella. We chose the 9 Foot Market Umbrella with Push Button Tilt and Crank. The 9 ft. Diameter-Shade should fit your 42″- 54″ round, square or rectangle table with 4 to 6 chairs. You can see how it looks with our picnic table below. It's Ideal for both residential and commercial spaces.
The Abba Patio Umbrella was super easy to set up and I love it's gorgeous color. It's made from 100% Post-Consumer Recycled Polyester fabric. It's fade resistant, water repellent and offers UV protection. The rust- free powder coated aluminum pole and steel ribs provide superior strength support compared to the standard pole. You can choose from different color choices.
It offers a crank mechanism for an open and close system. It's easy to use and offers a press and push button to tilt. This allows you to block the sun at different times of the day.
Once we got it put together it was time to set our table with our favorite Rae Dunn melamine dishes for dinner. We added a fun solar garden snail lantern for decoration and some ambiance.
The Abba Patio Umbrella looks great and it matches our color scheme we started with our small patio outside. We love having the extra outdoor seating for when guests come over and it's a great way to sit outside and have a yummy glass of Homemade Peach Tea while we sit and watch the dogs play.
