AMC Movie Savings: $5 Movies and More!
If you are planning to head back to the movies soon, be sure to check out $5 Movies at AMC! We went for a recent date night and were able to save on movie tickets over the regular price!
About $5 Movies at AMC:
Theaters vary, and Discount Tuesdays may differ from one theater to the next.
At our theater at Penn Square Mall in OKC, Oklahoma, there were more movies out for $5 Discount Tuesdays than were advertised online. So, movie selections will vary and you probably have to see in person or make a phone call to see which ones are included! You might even have certain Imax movies available for $5!
AMC also has discount Tuesdays matinee pricing. You can save 30% on your tickets when you book online.
Stubs Rewards Membership:
You can also sign up for a FREE AMC Stubs Rewards, and download the app. Receive member perks including ticket discounts, free popcorn upgrades and more.
With this app membership, there is a paid option but you don't have to opt in. Do the free one for the coupons and perks, without investing money in case you don't end up using it!
Look for movie-themed snack packages:
In general, if you're staying frugal with your movie-going experience, we would recommend you skip the snacks. Choose a nice restaurant, coffee shop, or even go out for ice cream after the movie.
But if you just have that movie theater popcorn, you can save in several ways. AMC sometimes has movie-themed snack packages available, where you can bundle and save. Also look at the kids' menu! Most theaters have a small drink or tray of popcorn you can purchase.
Look for free upgrades, such as AMC's Cinema week. Get unlimited refills when you purchase any size traditional popcorn!
