Do you have someone or something that will #inspiregoodness? To me, things that inspire goodness are certain family members, and of course my faith and family traditions! My mother in law can absolutely #inspiregoodness with her wonderful recipes! And of course the Edmond Road Baptist Church Food Pantry, which is able to #inspiregoodness through it's mission to help others and be a blessing to those who do not have enough to eat.
At Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen, they aim to #inspiregoodness by making meals from scratch, with simple and natural ingredients. You won't have a pre-made or frozen entree at Cheddar's. Their aim is to cook food fresh to order.
I have dined at Cheddar's in the Oklahoma City metro on many occasions. I appreciate the variety of the menu options, from lighter choices like sandwiches or chicken salads, to larger entrees like their chicken fried steak. The combo meals come with two vegetable sides, so be sure you have a hearty appetite if you decide on one of these options. You can dine at Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen on a break from a busy shopping day, for lunch after church, or even for a nice dinner on date night. The menu is great and the atmosphere lends itself to any of these times.
For lunch, I have chosen the sandwiches and just finished up with one of their dessert minis (which I have only seen offered at Cheddar's). The dessert mini's are just that…a mini portion of key lime pie, strawberry cheesecake or chocolate trifle served in a cute shot glass. It's just enough dessert to satisfy your sweet tooth without going overboard! 🙂
For dinner, the combo meals and burgers are good menu choices. The chicken fried steak is a fan favorite, but I have not tried it myself. As you can see below, if you're wanting a full size dessert to satisfy a sweet tooth or celebrate something special, they have delicious options like this chocolate cake! If you like home style, scratch-made classics as we do in my family, Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen is a must to visit. Even if you aren't able to dine at a location locally, keep it in mind for your travel or family road trip.
