I never liked broccoli as a child. It was green and looked like a tree…I wasn't eating it! Now, it's one of my favorite veggies! I normally just steam it and then top it with salt and pepper. That's easy and it tastes good, but I know there has to be more way to prepare it. So I gave roasting it a try. The results were yummy and easy too!
First wash the broccoli and let it try. Cut it into small florets. Line a baking sheet with foil ( it makes clean up a breeze!) Drizzle the broccoli with olive oil and then season with some salt and pepper.
Bake at 425 degrees for 15-20 minutes. See…I told you it was easy!
For more options use some of your favorite spices. I heart lemon pepper on broccoli and Parmesan cheese!
I totally <3 broccoli! Try dipping your broccoli in spicy or grainy mustard! It's delicious! I use Gulden's Spicy Mustard.
