I am at the very end of my pregnancy and the last thing I literally feel like doing at the end of the day is cooking a meal. If it were up to me I would eat a bowl of cereal for supper every day BUT I have two little boys and a husband who is always hungry and needs more than just cereal to fill them up. For about the last month or so I have been looking for the easiest meals I can find so this Super Simple Hawaiian Chicken is right up my alley! It literally only takes about five minutes to put together! Now that's my kind of meal!
To complete this meal I add rice and/or a veggie and dinner is ready to be served! My family's tummies are full and I didn't wear myself out by spending too much time in the kitchen. If you are looking for yummy, easy recipes then be sure to add this to your menu rotation!
Super Simple Hawaiian Chicken
Ingredients:
4-5 boneless, skinless Chicken Breasts
1 bottle of your favorite BBQ Sauce (I just LOVE Aldi's organic BBQ sauce!)
1-2 jars of Pineapple Rings
Provolone cheese slices
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
Place the chicken in the bottom of the baking dish then spread BBQ sauce all over the chicken being sure to cover it. Top each chicken breast with 1 to 2 slices of pineapple rings then top with 1 to 2 slices of provolone.
Cover your dish lightly with aluminum foil then bake in prepared oven for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 15-20 minutes, depending on the size of your chicken breasts. Once it is cooked through allow to sit for a few minutes before serving.
Enjoy!
