Whether you're celebrating Independence Day, a festive occasion, or simply indulging in a whimsical treat, Red, White, and Kaboom Marshmallow Pops are the perfect choice. They embody the spirit of joy, celebration, and a touch of unexpected magic, making them a captivating addition to any gathering.
First, gather supplies. You'll need marshmallows (I used red strawberry ones), white Almond bark, sprinkles (I used blue sugar sprinkles), pop rocks (look for red or blue colored) and sticks. I was able to pick everything up in one trip at Walmart.
Line a baking sheet with wax paper. Put a stick in each marshmallow and place them in the fridge or freezer. Let them chill for a few minutes. If they are cold the chocolate with stick to it better and the marshmallow won't melt.
While that's chillin‘, mix together the sprinkles and Pop Rocks.
Melt the Almond Bark. Follow the directions on the package. Make sure you don't get any water in the chocolate and don't over cook it.
Dip, Sprinkle, Set Down. Repeat. Dip, Sprinkle, Set Down. Repeat.
Tip: I used a spoon to scrape off excess chocolate so it won't drip in the sprinkles. I also found it easier to sprinkle the sprinkles on as opposed to dip it into the bowl.
When your sheet is full put it make in the fridge to harden.
Serve them up and watch for smiles!
( Warning: this snack was tested on Children…and they LOVED it!!)
