Confession: I love ranch dressing. When I have a salad I want their to be dressing on every piece of lettuce!
Why Homemade Ranch?
My kids even love ranch dressing. In fact, without their dip they won't eat their veggies!
But we all know that regular ranch dressing can be full of fat and calories. So I found a solution. Healthy Homemade Ranch dressing made from Greek yogurt.

Best Organic Ranch Dressing
The best homemade organic ranch dressing, made with ingredients you probably already have in your pantry
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 teaspoon dried chives
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
Write instructionsIn a small bowl whisk all ingredients until mixed well.
Store in a mason jar or airtight container.
It's fresh, it's healthier, lower in fat and higher in protein! WIN WIN!!
It's also a good way to sneak in veggies and yogurt for younger kids.
This recipe comes together with the traditional Hidden Valley Ranch mix.
I have been know to also throw together some dried ingredients in a pinch when I don't have a packet on the shelf, but the Hidden Valley is our favorite.
You can actually find the larger bottle of Hidden Valley mix on Amazon, if you don't often remember to keep a packet on hand in the pantry.

This homemade ranch is a healthy switch you can make from store bought dip!
Ingredients
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
Whisk all ingredients together.
Let chill for an hour before serving.
Enjoy!
Notes
Write expiration date from yogurt on the container. For best results, use within 1-2 days after making this dip.
