“I am working on a touch up job at home. Getting the large paint can out and finding the right paint can can be a chore…more work than actually doing the touch up! Setting some paint aside in a small jar (as shown) will make the task quick and easy. Plus opening a paint can will break the seal and there is always the problem of the paint drying out and then that can can't be used again when you need it. This has happened several times to me. This will work much better!”
Using a mason jar or a baby food jar would work great. Make sure to write on it what color the paint is and what room it was in. I only wish he would have shared this tip with me BEFORE we painted our house!! Now I'll know for next time!
