DIY – Make a Magnetic Alphabet Chart
More Frugal Tips /DIY Projects/From Our Readers /Guest Post
Our Reader Kristal Hamm said she has a stainless steel refrigerator that doesn't take magnets. She decided to make this project that she found on Pinterest from Nic and Kate for her kids playroom.
I purchased an oil pan at an office supply store and cleaned it with grease remover. It's very important to clean the pan well. It comes with a greasy film on it. I purchased an alphabet poster at a teacher supply store and cut out the letters. I glued them on with rubber cement then attached it to the wall with those removable contact strips. You can put anything you want on the pan, or put nothing on it and just put magnets there. I have less than $20 total in the project.
