Time

One of the most important things is to not rush when you are trying to find what you want to wear on the beach. You might decide that you want a shapewear swimsuit with a beautiful sarong. Give yourself enough time ahead of the holiday and head to the beach to find the exact one that you want.

There is nothing worse than buying a last-minute bikini or a last-minute swimsuit, and they don't fit as you wanted them to. And you'll feel more uncomfortable than ever Because what you are wearing wasn't what you wanted.

So if you're planning on wearing a cheeky bikini bottom or an ultra demure shapewear onesie, take the time to find what you need. So that you can Feeling Confident on The Beach.

Bright and bold

If you aren't a person who wears black for the rest of the year, then Summer probably isn't the time to do it. While black is known to be slimming, but bright and bold colors are what the summer sunshine is made for.

Most people will experiment with their look a little bit, try new layers, different fabrics, and even different make-up.

Join in at the bright summer fun and consider choosing two beach ensembles. Create two looks, one that is in your go-to comfort colors, most likely black or navy, and another it's some bright colors. You can also mix and match the brights and darks so that you can create something that feels good to you.

Skincare

In the winter months, it is not uncommon for people to let their skincare routine slide a little bit. After all, you are in pantyhose, leggings, jeggings trousers, long-sleeve t-shirts, jumpers, and plenty of cozy layers.

Often because we are so covered up, we forget to moisturize, which can mean our skin is much drier, and we have more work to do as we head into the summer.

It's not just that you need to consider, though, in the summer months, you'll need to make sure that anything you do use in terms of moisturizer has some SPF in it.

Or you can add your SPF to your regular skincare routine and apply it after your moisturizer. Remember those super delicate parts like the tips of your ears, the back of your neck, your nose, and of course, your lips. It can be very important to purchase a lip balm that is designed to give you some protection from the sun.

Bloating

Almost all people will experience some kind of bloating in everyday life. It could be due to diet. It could be hormonal, or it could just be for no reason at all. Many people are conscious that they would rather have a little less bloat than average when they have their bikini or swimsuit on. So it doesn't matter whether you're bloated or not; it is more about your comfort.

The first thing you should make sure to do is to drink plenty of water. This will help to remove the excess salt that you are holding onto. And we know that salt isn't a major cause of bloating.

Further to that, add in some live yogurt and perhaps a pineapple or two, and you notice a difference in a day or so.

If you are feeling super uncomfortable a day or two ahead of your holiday, see if you can get in on the last-minute appointment at a spa and specifically ask for a tummy treatment.

These treatments can help some extra drainage on your stomach. Not only can they help with sluggish digestion, which gives you a few days to Feeling Confident on The Beach.

Try-on

Long before you head to the beach in your one-piece or two-piece bathing suit, try on a few times and wear it around the house. This might sound strange, but it will get you used to the feeling of the swimming costume, and you said to the people in your home seeing you in it.

It's a similar thing to wearing new heels around the home for a short period to help stretch them out or to put in new jeans on. Once you've done it a few times, you might find that you are more comfortable in your bikini and swimsuit than you originally thought.

And since you're so used to wearing it's not going to be strange to grab it and put it on when you are on holiday. Often one of the biggest contributing factors to feeling uncomfortable on holiday is because we do think so we wouldn't normally do.

So make your bathing suit a part of your everyday life, and it's less likely to worry you when the time comes.
