So now I always keep a bottle of Hershey’s Syrup in our pantry because who doesn’t always need access to chocolate syrup??? My love for Hershey’s Syrup has grown even more because they have introduced Hershey’s Simply 5 Syrup. This means that it is made with 5 simple ingredients which does NOT include high fructose corn syrup, artificial colors or flavors and is made of non-GMO ingredients! Now I can feel even better about letting my family each chocolate syrup!
Here is a delicious sweetly simple recipe for Frozen Mocha Cappuccino using Hershey’s Simply 5 Syrup. If you love coffee and chocolate then you’ve got to try it!
- 3/4 c. chocolate ice cream
- 1 c. cold coffee
- 1/8 c. Hershey's Simply 5 Syrup
- Whipped Cream, optional
- Blend ice cream, coffee and Hershey's Simply 5 Syrup together in a blender until smooth.
- Add ice to your favorite cup then pour your blended coffee over the ice. Top with whipped cream if desired.
Other than making chocolate milk and drizzling on ice cream, what are some of your favorite ways to use chocolate syrup? When I get a craving for chocolate dipped strawberries I just drizzle a little Hershey’s Simply 5 Syrup on my fresh strawberries and my craving is satisfied! For an extra special treat for the kiddos I’ll drizzle a little chocolate syrup on their pancakes with strawberries and bananas. You wouldn’t believe how quickly they gobble them down! I had to make chocolate cupcakes for a bridal shower the other day and I had some left but ran out of the frosting.
