For any of us who has had a cell phone for a long period of time, you know customer service can sometimes be a touchy subject.  Whether you are calling about your bill, service, or just to understand part of your contract, we have all probably had a few not so pleasant experiences with customer service, unfortunately!

T-Mobile has several features that aim to put the customer in touch with the company, better than in the past.  The traditional customer service calls usually involved a lot of typing numbers in to a computer system, or waiting on hold for lengthy periods.

Using the App and Team of Experts for Customers

With the T Mobile Team of Experts feature in the app, you can access T-Mobile customer service via chat. You don’t have to sit on hold or type in numbers.

Just go into your T-Mobile app, click “More” and then “Contact Us” on the next menu.  You will then see your Team of Experts screen with hours of operation, and options to either call or message the team.

My team member who uses T-Mobile currently has only had to use this feature once in the past, and the team was able to answer question without any hassle. She likes the messaging feature best, since customer service can be accessed even if she is in the middle of a busy day.

Money Saving Hint: As a T-Mobile customer you will want to download the T-Mobile App itself, and also the T-Mobile Tuesdays app, for occasional freebies and savings!

Great Customer Service Stories

A favorite customer service interaction recently was at TJ Maxx online.  I collect pottery from TJ Maxx, and the customer service team is always so helpful.  I enjoy shopping their products online and in store, and whenever I have had to contact them, their customer service team has had a great attitude and is willing to help.

I try to do the customer service survey on my receipt, so I can give them the good feedback they have earned!

Another great feature about the T Mobile Team of Experts is that it’s a real person on the other end.  While most of like the convenience of contacting our cell phone carrier via internet or text, you want a real person on the other end when you’re having difficulties!

With the Team of Experts, you’re not going through a computer algorithm, trying to type in certain words to explain your question.  You can leave and rejoin the text conversation as you have time. The app is available for download on both iOS and Android.  You will log in with your phone number and a password, and can access other things including your bill, coverage map and more.  If you’re a T-Mobile customer I would definitely recommend using the app.
