Baby Shower Punch

Baby Shower Punch Recipe:

Quack! Quack! This is the perfect punch recipe for any baby shower. When it's all put together it's so cute! And the mom-to-be gets to take home the duckies, of course.

We recently did this punch for a baby shower and it's one of those easy party recipes that has the wow factor– everyone loves it– but it also tastes great. It's our go-to recipe for party punch.

This recipe for baby shower punch also works great for a First Birthday Party punch, or even a gender reveal party.

How to make your recipe for baby shower punch:

This recipe is very easy to prep ahead of time, but must be made immediately before serving. All you need is 1 Kool-Aid packet, pineapple sherbet, white grape juice and ginger ale.

I think the ingredient that gives this punch it's delicious flavor is the pineapple sherbet! I love anything with pineapple in it, and the bite of the pineapple and grape juice balance out the sweetness of the ginger ale.

This recipe for baby shower punch does have a blue color. So, keep that in mind if it doesn't match up with your preferred colors for the party. If you need a different punch color, substitute the Kool-Aid packet for a pink one (you can use strawberry for a basic flavor). I would keep the Pineapple Sherbet if possible, but you can also switch the ginger ale. Instead of regular ginger ale, just use Schweppe's Raspberry Ginger Ale! You can easily find the 2 L bottles at Walmart.

You can even arrange a few bath products around your punch bowl to keep in line with the “baby bath” idea!  Here are some fun table-scape props to arrange around your Baby Shower Punch bowl! I absolutely love these rubber duckie cookies from our party, too!

Baby Shower Punch Recipe

Baby Shower Punch

This super fun Rubber Duckie themed party punch is perfect for a baby shower, First Birthday, or even gender reveal!

Prep Time 10 minutes
Total Time 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 packet blue colored Kool-Aid
  • 2 liters of Ginger Ale, cold
  • 64 oz of White Grape Juice, cold
  • Approx. 8 scoops of pineapple sherbet
  • Cherries, Pineapple, or Orange Slices for Garnish

Instructions

In a large punch bowl combine the Kool-Aid packet and juices. Stir.

Slowly add the ginger ale.

Float 8 scoops of softened sherbet on top. Soda should create foam layer on top.

Add rubber ducks or colorful bath toys.

Optional, garnish cups with fruit

Enjoy!

Notes

This recipe makes about 130 oz. or about 16 8-oz fluid servings.

It should actually go further than that, considering the ice cream is not counted in the fluid ounces! It's very rich, so you can easily stretch this to serve about 30 people.

To change the color of the punch to pink, add a berry or strawberry (pink) Kool-Aid. Use Schweppe's Raspberry Ginger Ale instead of regular ginger ale.

Enjoy!
