For summer weeknights, burgers are always on the menu around here. I have actually been getting pre-made burgers lately, since they hold together well on the grill with no fuss. It's just something that saves me enough time to work on some great side dishes!
I don't know about you but sometimes the side dishes can make the meal. We love potatoes with our burgers, but for many that's a bit too much in the way of carbs. So for this roundup I added some lower-carb options.
Great Sides for Burger Night:
The great thing about burgers is that you can do light or filling on the side dishes. We have a wide variety of ideas listed below.
Hummus is a really fun, non-traditional side to serve with veggies, crackers and pretzels. Healthier than regular dip, and great with leftovers too!
This one says kid friendly all over it! These don't have the preservatives frozen/prepared Mozzarella sticks do, so no guilt on this one!
One of my favorites that can be baked for a healthy option, or if you have an air fryer definitely take advantage of that. These are so good and don't need much in the way of seasoning.
Sauces and Dips:
Now for the Burger Night sauces and dips! You can serve these with sides, or add right onto your burger for a big change-up with flavors.
This Copycat In-N-Out Burger sauce has been so popular on Consumer Queen, so we had to add it to the top of the list! You will have to give this one a try.
Add this to your burger or serve with corn chips, tortilla chips, or even regular potato chips.
Grandmas Best Sweet Pickle Relish Recipe
I love pickle relish on burgers and hot dogs. This one will make enough for several meals.
Serve hot or cold, in a bread bowl, with chips or even on your veggie plate! This recipe is so versatile.
