I'm so excited that Fall is coming! These pumpkin bars are oh so good! It's one of those deserts that I could literally eat the whole pan! Pumpkin and cream cheese…the perfect combination for a yummy treat! I think these taste even better the next day after they've been chilling in the fridge for a few hours.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13x9 baking pan.
In the medium bowl combine the eggs, sugar, oil and pumpkin on medium speed until light and fluffy.
In a large bowl whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, salt and baking soda.
Mix the dry ingredients into the pumpkin mixture until just combined. Try not to overmix. Spread the batter into the prepared 13 by 9-inch baking pan. Sprinkle the top with the pecans.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean. Transfer to a wire rack and allow to cool completely before frosting.
Enjoy!
