Spider Pretzels: A No-Bake Halloween Treat Kids Will Love
Looking for an easy Halloween snack that’s more fun than frightening? These Spider Pretzels are a simple, no-bake treat that comes together in minutes using pantry staples like crackers, peanut butter, and pretzels. They’re perfect for classroom parties, movie nights, or a festive afternoon snack. Plus, they’re a blast for kids to help assemble!

Makes: 6
Prep Time: 15 Minutes

Ingredients for Spider Pretzels
- 12 Ritz crackers
- 24 pretzel sticks
- 12 candy eyes
- 1/3 cup peanut butter

How to Make Spider Pretzels
Step 1: Assemble the Crackers
Lay all 12 crackers out on a clean surface. Spread peanut butter on all of them, covering one side of each cracker generously.
Step 2: Add the Legs
Break each pretzel stick in half. Place four pretzel halves on each side of six of the crackers to act as spider legs (eight legs per spider). Press them gently into the peanut butter so they stay in place.
Step 3: Form the Spider Body
Take the remaining crackers and press them peanut butter side down over the pretzels to form a sandwich. This secures the legs inside.
Step 4: Attach the Eyes
Using a small dab of peanut butter, stick two candy eyes to the top of each spider sandwich. Press gently to make sure they stay in place.
Serve and Enjoy
Your spooky Spider Pretzels are ready to be served. They’re best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored for a few hours if needed.

- Almond butter, sunflower butter, or cookie butter can be used instead of peanut butter for allergies or preference.
