Peppermint and Eucalyptus Bath Salts – 3 Ingredients
The holidays are here and that means lots of Christmas parties on my calendar with dirty santa gifts to buy for. I always have a hard time figuring out what to get for these games. I didn't want to be the one who brings the gift that nobody wants , I mean the best part is watching your gift get stolen right? I also wanted to come up with a gift that I could throw together at the last minute for those last minute invites you get so that I am not scrambling around trying to figure out what to do. I bought some cute snowman jars last year after Christmas for 50% off and I wish I would have bought more. I thought they would be great to fill with treats and give as gifts. that's when I got the idea to make Peppermint and Eucalyptus Bath Salts. It's so easy to make because it only has 3 ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 10 drops of Young Living Peppermint Oil
- 10 drops of Eucalyptus Radiata
- Epson Salt
All I did is fill the jar half way added 5 drops of each essential oil then fill the rest of the jar and the other 5 drops of oil on top and shake. I recommend only using pure essential oils because you never know how someone's skin is going to react. Young Living oils are all natural and pure with no side effects. Peppermint and Eucalyptus Bath Salts would also make cute teacher gifts, secret pal gifts to a gift for the person who pretty much has everything.

Why Choose Young Living Oils?
I took me a good 6months to decide to even use essentials oils but after doing my research I chose Young Living Oils. Why? Well, they are the only company that was completely open to me visiting their farm and distillery to check out how authentic and pure their products are. Everyone else said no. So it just so happens that I got to visit the Lavender farm and distillery in Utah to see for myself. Also I love the fact that Young Living Oils do not have an expiration date and that they can be ingested. They gurantee that no pesticides are used on the plants that they grow for their oils.
You see my grandmother used to plant peppermint in her garden and she would pluck a leaf off and put it straight in her mouth or in her tea. You should be able to do this with your oils. The FDA says you only have to have 5-10% pure oil to be considered pure. That means you could be ingesting a lot of chemicals with other brands if you are not carefully doing your own homework.
