Peaches and Cream Bars are a happy mix between peach pie and peach cobbler and is a fantastic summer dessert! The star of these bars are the chunks of peaches between a layer of cake mix crust and a smooth cream cheese filling topped with cake mix crumbles. It is such a simple dessert and a great option when you're looking for something light, fresh and easy!
These would be great at a BBQ, church potluck, picnic or any time you're just craving some dessert! One of my favorite things about this recipe is that it can be made ahead of time. I love when I can make something the day before I need it!
I haven't tried it yet but this may be great to try with other canned fruits such as cherries, blueberries and apples! Can you imagine how great this would be with apples in the fall?!? Oh, yum!!

Does the second egg go into the cream cheese mixture?
Wow, just threw this in the oven and realized there was a second egg sitting on the counter. I was wondering why the cream cheese mixture didn’t spread very well. On my way to a cookout and too late to do anything about it. Bummer

Yes, the second egg is used in the cream cheese mixture – sorry about that, we’ll get the recipe corrected. Thanks for letting us know 🙂
