The Mattel Playback Toy Recycling Program has Expanded to Accept Fisher-Price Toys!

Recycle your old toys thru Mattel’s PlayBack recycling program! They’ll recover any materials from the toys that can be recycled into new products. For materials that cannot be recycled into new toys, Mattel PlayBack will either downcycle those materials into other plastic products or convert them from waste to energy.

To participate in the program head over to Mattel.com/PlayBack, print a free shipping label, then pack and mail your kiddos’ outgrown Mattel toys back to Mattel. The PlayBack program is available in the U.S. and Canada as well as other countries. Right now, Mattel is only accepting Barbie, Fisher Price, Matchbox and Mega toys to recycle. Their goal is to be able to accept all Mattel toys but they’re not there yet. Mattel PlayBack is available in the United States, Canada, France, Germany and the United Kingdom.
