December can feel like such a balancing act for us parents! I try to keep things fun and plan some memorable activities for the kids, while also staying focused on the Reason for Christmas. And above all– try not to get carried away with things and gifts!
Some of the best Christmas traditions we've done over the years are just simple activities, puzzles, and games we just all sat down together and did. Remember, kids usually remember the time spent with family, years later!
This FREE Printable Santa's Workshop is made so that you can do one each day in December. However, you can certainly just pick a handful of the most fun ideas and build!
I'm sure most of you have an entire bin of LEGOs somewhere, like we do! If you don't have any extra LEGOs around, you can always purchase the Classic Blocks sets. They make a good Christmas present that will last and last.

I love that this is a good way to count down those final days leading up to Christmas. Didn't those days just crawl by, when we were kids?? I love seeing their excitement, but sometimes they need to fill up their time with a fun activity.
