Crock Pot BBQ Chicken

When I find whole chickens at a great price I like to stock up on them and stick them in the freezer for easy future meals.  I've had this chicken in my freezer for awhile and it's taking up valuable freezer meal space so I decided to include it in this week's menu.

Crock-Pot

And this Crock Pot BBQ Chicken is such an easy meal that not only was I clearing out the freezer but I was also providing a great meal for my family that didn't include a lot of effort!

Only 4 ingredients are needed for this recipe: chicken, BBQ chicken dry rub, onion and BBQ sauce.  And that's it!

It really is one of the easiest crock pot meals and is so delicious, too!  The chicken will become very tender after cooking and will fall off the bone.  I like to serve this with a veggie and some mac and cheese or mashed potatoes.  You can't go wrong with this easy Crock Pot BBQ Chicken! Cover and cook on low for 15 more minutes.  Serve with the remaining BBQ Sauce.

    Enjoy!

Notes

Use a strong pair of Tongs or Two large Utensils to gently remove chicken from Crock Pot. Will be hot!

Have a large cutting board ready or a 9x13 dish, to slice or shred chicken.
