  • Allow excess chocolate to drip off the strawberry back into the bowl. You can gently tap the strawberry against the side of the bowl to remove any excess chocolate.
  • Immediately after dipping, sprinkle the tips of the strawberries (the part without chocolate) with blue sprinkles. You can either dip just the tips into a plate of sprinkles or use your fingers to sprinkle them over the strawberries.
  • Place the dipped and sprinkled strawberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet or plate. Ensure they are spaced apart so they don't stick together.
  • Once all the strawberries are dipped and decorated, place the tray in the refrigerator for the chocolate to set and harden. This process usually takes about 15-20 minutes.
  • Once the chocolate has fully hardened, transfer the strawberries to a serving platter or plate. Arrange them in a way that displays the red strawberries coated in white chocolate with blue sprinkles on the tips, creating a festive Red, White, & Blue presentation.

Do chocolate dipped strawberries need to be refrigerated?

Yes, chocolate-dipped strawberries should typically be refrigerated. The chocolate coating can soften or melt at room temperature, especially in warm weather, causing the strawberries to become messy and lose their appeal. Refrigeration helps maintain the freshness and texture of the strawberries and the chocolate coating, preserving their quality for a longer time. It's best to store them in an airtight container or on a plate covered with plastic wrap in the refrigerator and consume them within a few days for the best taste and texture.
