New Galaxy of Creatures Animated Series on Star Wars YouTube Channel!
Calling all Star Wars fans! Galactic Wildlife is a new show the kids can enjoy, now available on the Star Wars YouTube Channel.
If you don't have cable and prefer to watch streaming services or YouTube, this new animated series of short features will be a hit with Star Wars fans. You can read about the series over at Starwars.com
What's Galexy of Creatures All About?
“The Galactic Society of Creature Enthusiasts was founded during the exploration age of the High Republic by scientists and adventurers interested in researching the myriad of new species found on the frontier worlds of the Republic,” said Matt Martin, Sr. Creative Executive on the Lucasfilm Story Group. “In Star Wars Galaxy of Creatures, we have the opportunity to show how the Society cataloged the galaxy’s wildlife. I hope fans of all ages will enjoy following Aree’s adventures.”
“From teaching porgs new tricks to brushing a rancor’s teeth, Aree will get the answers to the biggest—and silliest—creature questions. In the series, Aree will study creatures big and small: banthas, blurggs, charhounds, Kowakian monkey-lizards, mynocks, nexu, porgs, rancors, tauntauns, tooka cats, voorpaks, and wampas. Lucasfilm also created activities and a certificate to become an honorary member of the Galactic Society of Creature Enthusiasts for families to complete together as they watch the series.” ~ Via Lucasfilm Press Release
FREE Galexy of Creatures Activity Pack!
To add to the fun, kids and parents can score a free activity kit to go along with the new series. The kit is a PDF printable and includes a word scramble, journal for creatures, maze, word search, and over 10 creature coloring pages. This activity pack can be used at any age of course. Some reading is required so it's ideal for elementary ages and up.
