In the online cooking class, Susana prepares 10 healthy freezer meals (60 servings!) in only 30 minutes. Each recipe features items that can be bought in bulk from Costco, Sam’s Club, or your local grocery store… bringing the cost of each serving size as low as $2. Lettuce Beef Wrap

Try these Lettuce Beef Wraps from FreezerFit meals. Head over to the blog post to get your free cookbook for more!

Cook Time 4 hours 3 seconds
Additional Time 5 minutes
Total Time 4 hours 15 minutes 3 seconds


  • 1 1/2 pounds of extra lean ground beef
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons siracha
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder (you can use minced garlic)
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger (powder)
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar or honey
  • juice of 1 lime
  • Romaine lettuce leaves (add on day of cooking, not to freezer bag)


Label a 1 gallon freezer bag.

Add all ingredients except lettuce leaves to your freezer bag

Remove air, seal and freeze. Thaw out overnight in the fridge prior to cooking.

To cook, add your freezer bag ingredients to slow cooker. Set on low for 6-8 or high 3-4 hours.

Stir occasionally, breaking up meat and mixing sauce.

To serve, lay fresh (washed) lettuce leaves flat on a plate. Add meat and sauce mixture to each lettuce leave. Roll up if desired.



Freezer bag is optional. You can add ingredients straight to slow cooker.
