If you are looking for ideas for bathroom organization you're going to love this toothpaste hack. Our family seems to have a habit of not putting the lid on the toothpaste tight enough causing occasional leakage all over my counter. We have also had the instance where more squeezes out than we wanted and it makes a mess of the tube. Well I have finally found a solution to keep everything nice and tidy. We will even tell you what toothpaste ingredients you should avoid.

Glass soap dispenser set from target

I bought this beautiful glass soap dispenser set at my local Target. They seem to be selling out very quickly so I would advise ordering online and doing store pick up or ship to your home. If this one goes out of stock, Amazon has some pretty ones as well. You could also grab some custom labels to make sure that each dispenser is easily identifiable. You can then also use them around the rest of the house too!

Place your toothpaste in the soap dispenser, and then mix it with mouthwash. I ended up mixing about 2 tubes of my Thieves natural toothpaste with two parts Thieves mouth wash to make it easier to pump out. I suggest starting out adding small amounts of mouthwash at a time till you get your desired consistency because each brand of toothpaste is different. I put about a shot glass full of mouth wash for my thieves. I can now enjoy the new look without missing out on convenience.

On the other side, I filled with my Thieves mouthwash and just squirt into a shot glass and rinse.

I love this hack because now instead of brushing right over our countertop like we used to, now we just push down on the pump for an instant clean surface! And when company comes by we can quickly make sure everything looks tidy without having to put anything away at all. When looking for Ideas for Bathroom Organization I always want to make sure they are easy, and that they serve a purpose. This one helps keep our bathroom counters nice and neat.

You may be thinking to yourself, eww… won't this change the consistency of the toothpaste? No, not like you think. It actually just made it a little more smooth. It wasn't gritty or runny at all. I actually thought the mouthwash enhanced the toothpaste and left my mouth feeling fresh. Plus it actually makes my toothpaste last longer. I also didn't fill my container all the way for a reason. I wanted to make sure that over time, toothpaste didn't gunk up the soap dispenser, so only filling it up half away allows me to be able to rinse and clean it our more often. It also keeps things fresh.

Toothbrushes can be stored in jars or on hooks mounted onto the wall so they are out of sight when not being used, or you could have them displayed like artwork in glass cupboards that also house hand towels, guest toiletries, etcetera. Toothbrush holders should ideally be matched to their brush type (i.e., electric brushes need an outlet), but fitted inside drawers beneath sinks is another good choice for storage – otherwise keep them within easy reach by storing them either next to the sink or directly underneath it on top of a towel rack which doubles up.
