You’ll love how easy these DIY Cleaning Wipes are to make, using all-natural ingredients that can handle any mess. To avoid using harsh chemicals in your home, make your own cleaning wipes instead. Here’s how:
DIY Cleaning Wipes: What you’ll need
- Vinegar
- Water
- Liquid Dish Soap
- 10 Drops essential oil of choice. (to learn more about how I chose my favorite essential oils click here. Some of my favorites are the citrus scents, like Lemon, or something nice that blends into the background in the room like lavender.
- 1 Paper Towel roll
- Empty canister or tupperware container (you can also use an old cleaning wipe container)
My tips for making great DIY Cleaning Wipes:
If you are thinking of making these, keep in mind you do want to use the stronger paper towels. I like the “ultra” ones or the name brand Bounty paper towels. The reason being, is that your DIY Cleaning wipes will stay moist over time, and you don't want your wipes shredding apart when you go to use them.
Another tip is on the essential oils. If you aren't a fan of EO's that's fine– you can still make this recipe. However, your cleaning wipes will smell predominantly like vinegar if you don't use any scents at all in addition to your ingredients.
You can opt for a more dilute EO if you're very sensitive to them, but your results may vary of course. 🙂
