VALENTINES Daniel and Melissa

First, I want to start with a little bit about what valentines day is all about and where it came from. The history of valentines day goes back to when young men in England would give women written declarations of their feelings for them on February 14th each year. Women weren't allowed to vote, own property, make decisions, etc., so these men wanted their sweethearts to know how important they were in their lives and that they were loved. At some point in our US history this became an international holiday that we now celebrate every year.
